Caucaea phalaenopsis is an epiphytic orchid from the genus Caucaea.
Description[]
Plants bloom in the summer with several 3.75 cm wide flowers.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in Ecuador at elevations of 2700 to 2800 meters.
Culture[]
Grow in cold to cool conditions with moderate light. Water the plant right before the potting mix starts to dry. Plants should be potted in a well drain medium such as medium fir bark.
