Plant blooms in the winter to spring with a single 4.5 cm wide flower. Flowers are fragrant.

Plants are found growing on forest slopes and mossy trees in the Philippines at elevations of 400 to 1400 meters

Plants are grown in small pots and usually require bright light and cool to warm temperatures. Plants should be grown in media that is well drained such as tree fern fibers, medium fir bark, or sphagnum moss. Water and fertilize regularly. Reduce watering during dormancy period in the winter Plants can also be mounted on cork.
