Aerangis ellisii is an species in the genus Aerangis.

Description[]

Plant blooms in the spring with thirteen to twenty four 6.25 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.

Distribution[]

Plants are found growing in central and eastern Madagascar at elevations of 1100 to 1400 meters

Culture[]

Plants are best grown hanged in baskets and on mounted and usually require moderate to low levels of sunlight and cool to warm temperatures. If hunged the roots must be watered frequently. Plants should be grown in media that is well drained such as tree fern fibers (for small plants),several pieces of coarse fir bark, or sphagnum moss.
