Plant is found in semi-deciduous and evergreen forests of the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanamar, Thailand, southern China and Vietnam at elevations of 500 to 2300 meters


Plant should be grown in a moderately lighted area with cool to intermediate temperatures. plants should be watered two to three times a week with dry outs between watering. Plants should be potted in a free draining medium such as medium fir bark with perlite or in sphagnum moss. Plant can also be mounted
