Epidendrum radicans is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Epidendrum.

Description[]

Plant blooms in fall and spring with many 2.5 cm wide flowers.

Distribution[]

Plant is found growing between grasses and rocks in roadsides and pine and oak forest from Mexico to Colombia at elevations of 900 to 2500 meters

Culture[]

Plants grow in cool to warm conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light is recommended. Lengthen drying period a bit in the winter.
