Epidendrum medusae is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Epidendrum.


Plant blooms usually in the summer with up to three 7.5 cm wide flowers.


Plant is found in the wet montane forest of Ecuador at elevations of 1800 to 2700 meters


Plants grow in intermediate to cool conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light is recommended. Lengthen drying period a bit in the winter.
