Epidendrum ilense is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Epidendrum.


Plant blooms at any season with three to seven 3.5 cm wide flowers. Flowers my bloom off of old inflorescence that are not dead.


Plant is found growing in the wet forest of central and western Ecuador at elevations of 250 to 700 meters


Plants grow in warm conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light.
