Dendrobium pulchellum is a species of genus Dendrobium


Plant blooms from winter to spring with five to fifteen 13 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.


Plants are found in the deciduous forest of Assam India, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Myanamr, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Yunnan China and Vietnam at elevations of 70 to 2200 meters.


Plant requires cool to intermediate temperatures and medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During winter reduce watering until new shoots appear but do not allow plant to dry out. Grow in a well drain mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
