Dendrobium hercoglossum is a species of genus Dendrobium
Description[]
Plant blooms from spring to winter with two to eight flowers. Flowers are fragrant and 2.5 cm wide.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing on the trees in the montane forest of Thailand, Burma, Malaysia and Indochina at elevations of 600 to 1200 meters
Culture[]
Plant grows in cool to warm temperatures with medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During winter reduce watering until new shoots appear. Grow in a well drained mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
