Dendrobium cruentum is a species of genus Dendrobium


Plants bloom from spring to fall with 1 to 2 flowers with a faint fragrance. Flowers are long lasting and 3.75 to 6.25 cm wide.


Plants are found in the open lowland forest of Thailand, Burma and Vietnam


Plant grows in intermediate to warm temperatures with medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During winter withold watering until new shoots appear. Mist the surface of the potting media to prevent pseudobulbs from drying. Grow in a well drain mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
