Dendrobium christyanum is a species of genus Dendrobium


Plants bloom from spring to summer with a single 5cm wide flower. Flower has a sweet apple cinnamon smell.


Plants are found on the cloud forest of Northern Vietnam, northern Thailand, and Yunnan China at an elevation of 800 to 1600 meters


Plant grows in intermediate to warm temperatures with medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During winter withold watering until new shoots appear. Mist the surface of the potting media to prevent pseudobulbs from drying. Grow in a well drain mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
