Dendrobium cariniferum is a species of genus Dendrobium


Plants bloom in the spring with two to five 5 cm wide flowers.


Plants are found on mossy branches in the coniferous forest of Himalayas to Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and South western China at elevations of 450 to 1800 meters


Plant grows in intermediate to warm temperatures with medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During winter withold watering until new shoots appear. Mist the surface of the potting media to prevent pseudobulbs from drying. Grow in a well drain mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
