Dendrobium capillipes is a species of genus Dendrobium


Plant blooms from late winter to spring with several 4cm wide flowers.


Plants are found the dry deciduous montane forest of India, Nepal, Myanamar, Thailand, China, Laos, and Vietnam at elevations of 800 to 1300 meters


Plant requires cool to warm temperatures and medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. Water regularly in the summer and keep cool in the winter. Water should be reduce but occasionally mist potting media to prevent pseudobulbs from shriveling. Grow in a well drain mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
