Dendrobium acinaciforme is a species of genus Dendrobium


Plant blooms in the spring with a single 0.8 cm wide flower.


Plant is found in the evergreen lowland forest of Assam, eastern Himalayas, Hainan China, south central China, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and the Moluccas at elevations of 800 to 2200 meters


Plant requires cool to warm temperatures and medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. From fall to winter reduce water and resume normal watering patterns when new shoots appear in spring. Plant is best mounted. Pot in medium fir bark with perlite or sphagnum moss.
