Cypripedium lichiangense is a Cypripedium species found in East Asia. The plant is named after a town in Yunnan, China.

Cyp. lichiangense is found in open forest in North eastern Burma and the provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan China at elevations of 2600 to 3500 meters.


Reduce watering in the summer and winter but keep the mix from drying out. Slowly increase watering as the plant develops. Pot in a well drain media with pH between 6 and 7. Pot culture is recommended in cultivation.
