Cypripedium farreri, is an orchid that is native to China


Plant blooms in the summer with 1 flower per an inflorescence.


Plants are found in gullies and limestone gorges in the shade at elevations of 2600 to 2850 meters at Gansu and Sichuan provinces of China.


Keep in partial shade to full shade. Water frequently in the summer and reduce watering as it approaches fall. Plant have been grown in full pumice or lavarock. Keep pH at around 7.
