Cypholoron frigidum

Cypholoron abbreviated as Cln. in horticultural trade, is a genus of around two species.

Plants are found in Venezuela and Ecuador

Grow in warm conditions with moderate to bright light. Water the plant right before the potting mix starts to dry. Plants should be potted in a well drain medium which dries quickly such as tree fern fibers or sphagnum moss with perlite. They are best mounted. Keep humidity high with well air circulation.

The plant is named after the greek word "klyphos" which means curved or bent and the word "loros" which means strapped.
