Cymbidium lancifolium is a species of Cymbidium from Australia.


Plant blooms from spring and summer with up to five 5 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.


Plant is found in the forest of the Himalayas, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, China, Korea, Japan, Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, Myanamar, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Borneo, Java Moluccas, Sulawesi, Sumatra and New Guinea at elevations of 200 to 2300 meters


Plant should be grown in cool to intermediate areas with medium to bright light. Pot with coconut bark and perlite or with lavarock, perlite, and medium fir bark. Plant prefers dry periods between watering. Reduce watering during the winter. Water about once a week.
