DescriptionEdit

Plant blooms from fall to winter with four to ten 4 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.

DistributionEdit

Plant is found in the montane forests of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica at elevations of 1200 to 2600 meters

CultureEdit

Grow plants in cool to intermediate temperatures in partial shade to bright light. Water plant when mix drys. During the winter give plants a slight dryout between waterings. Water approximately once a week. Pot plants in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark with perlite or charcoal and tree fern fibers.
