Cuitlauzina egertonii is a species of Cuitlauzina.


Plant blooms in the late spring and fall with many 5 cm flowers. Flowers are fragrant with a lemony scent.


Plant is found in the wet montane forest of Mexico to Costa Rica at elevations of 1500 to 2500 meters


Grow plants in cool to intermediate temperatures in partial shade to bright light. Water plant when mix drys. During the winter give plants a slight dryout between waterings. Water approximately once a week. Pot plants in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark with perlite or charcoal and tree fern fibers.
