Plant blooms from winter to spring with six to ten 8 cm wide flowers.

Plant is found growing on branches in the montane forest of Peru and Ecuador at elevations of 400 to 1220 meters.

Plants should be grown in medium fir bark with partial to full sun. The plant is a warm growing orchid species. Water approximately once a week. Plant can also be mounted.
