Bulbophyllum dearei is a species in the genus Bulbophyllum found in Asia.


Plants blooms from summer to fall with a single 7.5 cm wide flower. Flowers are fragrant.


Plants are found in the lower montane forest of Borneo, penninsular Malaysia and the Philippines at elevations of 700 to 1200 meters


Keep plant in intermediate to warm temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted. Keep medium well drained.
