Barlia metlesicsiana is a terrestrial orchid in the genus Barlia
Plant is found growing in the woodland area among grasses in Santiago del Teide, Canary Islands.
Plants bloom in winter with twenty to forty flowers. This species is listed as endangered on the ICUN list.
Plants should be grown a cool area with moderately bright light. Pot the plants in a well drain medium. Water regularly in the fall about every one to three days. Withold watering after leaves and spikes die away and plant becomes dormant, until new shoots appear.
