Barkeria barkeriola is a plant in the genus Barkeria.
Plant blooms from late summer to fall with up to ten 3.5 cm wide flowers.
It is similar to Barkeria uniflora but differs by having fleshy wings in the column and a sac-like nectary ovary.
Plant is found on low shrubs of Southwestern Mexico at elevations of 600 to 1000 meters
Plants are grown in warm to intermediate conditions in shade. They are usually grown mounted on cork or bark with sphagnum moss. Plants should be watered regularly. Keep the plant in a media that can dry out pretty quickly. The plant can also take dryouts between waterings. Keep the plant in an area with good air circulation. Watering should be reduced during resting season from fall to winter.
