Acanthephippium sylhetense is a species in the genus Acanthephippium.
Plant blooms from spring to fall with three to six 2 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.
Plant is found growing in tropical valleys of Assam, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Sikkim, lower India, to Myanamar, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Ryukyu Islands and Taiwan China at elevations of 500 to 1300 meters.
Plants should be grown in shade with intermediate to warm temperatures. Grow in a well drained terrestrial mix with medium bark and perlite. Plants do not like to be repotted often. Keep plant media moist and water regularly during growth season. During winter reduce watering.
